Metropix was founded in 2004, formally introducing its service in early 2005. The Company was acquired by the Landmark Information Group (a Daily Mail and General Trust company) in late 2008. 

Metropix is the leading supplier of floor plan based products to the real estate industry. On average, over four floor plans are created using Metropix every minute of every working day. 

The customer base ranges from large estate agency chains to thousands of independent real estate agents and private individuals across the globe. Since pioneering the world's first technology to automatically generate 3D floor plans and Walkthroughs direct from a 2D plan, the Metropix product range has expanded to  include Google Earth 3D models, interactive floor plans, and maps for both online and print. 

There is a choice of floor plan delivery models. Most popular is the online draw-it-yourself tool. This is complemented by the AutoDraw service which creates floor plans from faxed sketches rapidly and economically.

Metropix subscribers also benefit from Plan Bank, a unique repository of hundreds of thousands of pre-drawn plans ready to load into the online floor plan tool.

Exceptional customer service is at the heart of the Metropix offering. The in-house teams deliver unlimited training and support to all commercial customers, via phone, e-mail and webinar.  In addition, an ongoing, pro-active development programme is driven by customer feedback and changing industry requirements, meaning customer feedback is actively sought and systematically acted upon.
